Hyperchromatical clones

This project, called “Hyperchromatic clones”, comes as a direct transformation and mutation of my earlier work of Photochemical Painting. www.merantzas.gr/index.php?/work/2005/

Wishing to aesthetically adapt these earlier works and having the right and privilege of a personal self-vandalism, I alter their dimensions, proportions and compositions, radically interfering in the in their evolutionary regeneration.

With abundant use of colour, I create new autonomous works, full of tension, a psychedelic atmosphere and above all a desire for Visual Pleasure.

All the works of the “Hyperchromatic clones” collection are produced in different variations and dimensions, paying tribute to the “Pope of Pop” pioneer Andy Warhol.
